What is PatientWire?
PatientWire is a group of services that are designed to help automate your eye care practice.
It can:
- Relieve your staff from manually fulfilling contact lens and supplement refills, through an automated toll-free number and your own customized
e-commerce
site.
- Help keep your patients from defecting to alternative sources for their refills
- Allow you to send mass e-mails to your patients rapidly and inexpensively.
- Provide you with a customized, extensible web site, if you don't already have one.
- Provide you with e-mail for your entire staff.
- Save you from the worry of developing,managing and maintaining these technical services yourself.
How does it work?
All of PatientWire's services run on Wolf Bioscience's centralized, secure servers.
You and your staff access your PatientWire installation over the web. From your secure control panel, you enter patient prescriptions into the
system. Each prescription has an expiration date & limited number of refills.
Your clients can order lenses from your web site OR via a toll-free
number that we provision & customize for you. Their orders are automatically sent to the distributors you choose, and drop-shipped to the patient.
All this happens without any staff intervention, 24 hours a day, saving your staff from the hassle of performing routine refills and keeping your
patients happier.
This sounds complicated. Is it easy to set up and maintain?
Very.
Setup is easy. After you sign up, we call to arrange a training meeting for your staff. We send you an easy-to-read user manual & give your staff
2 hours of training over the telephone.
Our staff customizes your site and makes sure that you understand how everything works. We also offer unlimited
technical support in case you have problems.
To maintain the system, just make sure the patient's prescriptions are up-to-date. Based on data from our existing clients, updating a patient
record takes between 45 seconds and 1 minute.
Does PatientWire cost a lot?
No! In fact, it was designed to give you a rapid return on investment, while at the same time dramatically improving customer service.

Why should I use your system? Why not a particular distributor's?
