In order to make the best use out of your PatientWire Phone Commerce or PatientWire E-Commerce system, it will be necessary for you to do a couple of
things:
- Make sure any patient data in the system is up-to-date at all times, and
- Remind the patient how to order!
That second point is critical. If the patient doesn't know what number to call, or web site to go to, or what their username is, then they probably
won't think of you first for their refills.
Pre-Printed Reminders
The solution to the problem is to hand the patient a reminder card on the way out the door. The card should tell the patient:
- The phone number to call for refills (if you're using the Phone Commerce System)
- Your web site address
- Their user ID, PIN, username & password.
- Your office's phone #, in case they have problems
The card must be wallet-sized. Our experience is that if you don't make it wallet-sized, the patient will toss it out.

documents, and the patient will be all ready to order without any further instruction!
